Message boards. Forums. Communities. BBS. Over the years, we have given online forums
many names. However, while the names are many, the function remains the same. A place
where people who share a common interest can meet and talk about whatever is on their
minds. For anime fans, they are a place to talk about our favorite series, meet fellow
otaku, escape from our daily routines, and just plain ol' have fun. Because in
the end, that's the purpose of online communities. Give us a sort of online home. A place
to talk. A place to make friends. A place to let loose and be yourself. Sure, most of you
have already found this place. But what about the people who haven't? Or the people who
are searching for more cool boards to chat on? If you don't belong to one of the big forum
servers, finding a good board on the net can be a chore. Most search engines do not allow
you to list your board and directories dedicated to this type of online community are a no
show in today's world wide web. No wonder most administrators lose interest after waiting
for months for visitors to come, only to find out the visitors are there, they just don't
know about your board. I was one of those administrators. After searching for a days for a
place to list my board, I found out such a site did not existed. So me, being me, I decided
to create it. The 'Anime Forum Database'. The place where forum administrators can list
their anime and manga related communities. Big. Small. It doesn't matter. You have a forum.
You want more visitors. E-mail us the URL, name, and a brief description, and we'll do the
rest. It's that simple. What do we ask in return? Tell your visitors about us. A link somewhere
in your site or board will do. That's it. To our visitors, the boards are below. Choose your
favorite and remember most require a membership before you can post. That is all. Have fun and
don't forget to bookmark us, we update every week!
